Default Are you OCD with certain things?

Is there certain things that must be done right, or in the correct order? If so what?

I'm OCD about my room, everything must be straight and facing forward all the time, like deodorants and stuff. Even the kitchen cupboards everything has to be in the right area, tinned veg all together, beans all together all facing forward awks?

    Anything you are OCD about?

I have a couple of "quirky" OCD's, my car radio always has to be on an even number or 5 for some reason. I always eat the chips before a burger if that is the meal combination.

I get in random stages where I'm extremely OCD with cleaning and tidying things up. If I come home and the house is a mess and I'm urging to clean then I will definitely get right on it and clean.

I don't get it about anything much except digital clocks but I've said about it before on the forum and it's not even OCD it's just weird

oh well I'll say it again
on digital clocks, I love it when the digits add up to a number ending in 5 or 0 (e.g 12:11 = 1+2+1+1 = 5) and it used to cause me a real problem when I had a digital alarm clock because I'd lie awake adding up the digits and if they didn't add up to something ending in 5 or 0 I would make myself stay awake until it happened, lol It's not so bad now but I still always add up digits.

Not that its your fault, but it really pisses me off when people say they're 'OCD' about stuff that's to do with perfectionism.
OCD is a debilitating mental illness in its strongest form, it causes extreme cases of anxiety and can make your life hell. My best friend was diagnosed with it when she was younger and now she will have a panic attack if she thinks her hands are dirty and she can't clean them or will point blank refuse to go somewhere if she's run out of anti bacc (she uses this as a last resort if there's seriously no place to clean her hands) or knows that there's no place to clean her hands. Like you can say its a 'quirky' habit but its really not OCD and like I said, it's not your fault its the way this society perceives OCD as not a severe mental illness that causes people to call their perfectionism, OCD.

Ye same I have a friend (though I haven't seen her in ages now) who used to get bullied at school because her OCD was so obvious and you know what kids are like around people who aren't exactly the same as them...
She used to have to turn light switches on/off a certain number of times (I think it was like 16 or something but like I say I haven't seen her in ages and I can't remember) whenever she left a room empty so it used to piss teachers off if she was the last one out or something. And she had all these fears about germs which started off as just a lot of handwashing/scrubbing but then she got to the point where she was like damaging her nails because she tried to keep them so short so no germs could get under them, wouldn't eat certain foods because she was sure they had germs in them, and all sorts.

It was awful and I was sad because when we were like 10 we were bffls but then by the time we were about 15/16 I didn't like being with her anymore because she was more OCD than she was her, if that makes sense? Like she lost her identity because she was so consumed by being clean and having to do things in a certain way and certain order to keep herself "safe". It sucked from what I could see.
