    Default Does Habbox really need a 'Marketing Manager'?

    So I've come to realise that this marketing manager thing wasn't just a custom usertitle and is an actual thing that habbox has implemented since I was last here. What's the point of it exactly? What is the role description, in layman terms? Why is The Box being marketed to non-habbo users? What's being done about driving HABBO traffic to the site? PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND

    on topic though, didn't we used to call this position 'community manager' back in the day

    As far as I've heard the marketing manager has been giving loads of ideas to departments on how to expand and advertise better and other stuff (with the exception of a dept or two who refuse to take his advice)

    Personally all I've seen from the manager is the box thing but tbh that was implemented within what a month of him getting the role? That's a lot more than some managers do within a month !!

    There's also a more slim lined registration which cuts out most of the unneeded parts of it. I believe Ross and MattG helped get that rolling too, but obviously members won't really know that as they already have an account!

    What departments have been advised and in what ways? Bringing The Box back is a good step but not in its current proposed format with all signs of habbo removed - what's the point, who's going to read it?

    I don't know who's taken on board his advice or what his advice has been cos the managers like keeping that sort of thing secret haha but I know he has been actively trying
    Last time I saw him he was talking about ways to make comps more appealing

    Yeah I agree with that but atleast they've trialled it, could've just written off the idea straight away!
