In recent years what's the best way you've improved yourself?
Perhaps it's not beating yourself up so much, focusing more on a certain aspect of your life, etc.

Overcoming anxiety. I'm one of those people that's fairly quiet at first then after a while I come out of my shell and never shut up. Over the years, I've worked to shorten that quiet period so that it's more 'normal.' I went 2 years at college barely saying a word. At uni I was a little better, spoke up in class and stuff. When I started my job, I was crapping myself because I struggle with talking on the phone. I even wrote a script for me to read out because that made it easier. I eventually got over it, ditched the script and now I pick up the phone with no trouble.
I was really overthinking it but I've tried to improve myself by working on the little anxieties in life that were holding me back.
Definitely being less shy/nervous around people and being more confident! Doing my access course/quitting my job/going to Uni has been the best thing for me and has allowed me to move to a big city and have lots of new experiences!Living in halls last year was fun. I feel I've improved my mental capability too, just by going back into education and pushing myself a bit. I thought that I was thick but I've had really good results from my first year at Uni so it's looking good! I try not to beat myself up so much over things these days but of course get the odd bad day. Just have to keep a positive, strong stance and plod through life happily

Physically healthier and stronger.
More disciplined (though not where I want to be).
Basically better in every way possible than 1 year, 2 years etc. ago.
