HeyYou can only edit your post/thread for 15 minutes after you have made the post. After that time editing is not allowed.
If you want a post/thread editing (e.g for a list to be updated) you could ask a moderator to do it for you and they will do it at their discretion. Just drop them a private message/visitor message on the forum and ask them if they would mind editing it for you.You can find out who the moderators/super moderators (or even forum management/general management as they can edit posts too) are by checking out the staff list here

Thanks for the response, it does seem like a long winded way to edit a post, especially if a post was a list of everything I have for sale. I would be sending them messages everyday![]()
I brought that up about the trading forum in the past, but apparently, it's a "pointless" thing to introduce.
I actually wouldn't think it would be any harm to allow users to edit their own posts in that forum.
Why is it actually limited to 15 minutes?
That's right yeah. Not something I imagine many people would abuse these days, but it does save us from people potentially adding something nasty to a post further down the line.

Fair point. Wish it was a bit longer though I have to say![]()
