my date is 6th n i am very excited even tho i dont get paid much !

I get paid on the 28th of every month but any mileage, extra hours, overtime etc gets paid in arrears so june extra hour gets paid with july wage etc

when I get paid, I put money into joint account, keep enough for insurance, petrol, phone and maybe £40 or so if I need on toiletries and the rest goes into savings unless I know i'll need it for birthdays, trains etc! don't like to have a lot in my bank account like to put it all in my savings so I'm not tempted when I'm in a shop to buy stuff

I have my rent and ISA money go out on the 1st every month and my credit card bill (which is just used for train tickets & a few bigger purchases) on the 3rd every month. That usually comes to about a third of my monthly salary. The rest I keep in my current account, using bits when needed, then on the day after payday I move anything over a certain fixed amount into my other savings account!

I thiiiink my pay is weekly on Thursdays, tho my first pay I got massively underpaid so thts a good start

I'm rlly good at saving money tho so im not ever desperate for paydays cos I always have enough money spare

I get paid every Tuesday, if I get kept on then it will be monthly I'm good at saving money, I've limited how much I can spend during my contract as I'm saving up for something

but its every second thursday. past few weeks i've been in a self imposed austerity not cos i was skint but cos i wanted my money to climb upwards (cos its satisfying) and had my bday so found out today i'm up to like £800 to £1,000 now which i'm reallyyyyyy happy with

Last Friday of every month but I only get paid up until the Sunday before pay day.

Im pretty bad at saving and the two holidays I've had thisbyear havent helped me out either. Instead of saving Injust pay the lunp sum out of my wages then I go into my over draft n it ends up being one big catch 22. Hopefully I can sort myself out n stop going into my over draft in Feb because obviously its a short month so hopefully wont go into my over draft then.

Also, just bought myself a Saint Laurent card holder, idk why :| ffs
