Default Unemployment in Britain falls to 40-year low

This isn't what George Osborne and Remain said would happen?

Anecdotal I know, but they always say in cities however many cranes you see on the skyline are a good indication of how well an economy is doing. In Liverpool, I have certainly noticed an uptick this year and work is beginning on a number of skyscrapers over 30 storeys tall which is exciting. The Manchester skyline is also rapidly changing from what I witnessed earlier this year being built.

Another good sign more locally was when I handed my notice in last month, the number of people who applied to take what is just a small part time job - I think we had over twenty people inquiring/applying.

Have you noticed anything in your local area?

    Thoughts?

There appears to be a lot of jobs available if you don't care what you do. I'm more worried about the stagnation in wages, companies appear to be squeezing every penny.
