Britain joins the Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)

Britain joins the huge Pacific trade agreement worth ?9 trillion, alongside member states Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Today the UK is joining 11 countries: 🇨🇦🇦🇺🇧🇳🇨🇱🇯🇵🇲🇾🇲🇽🇳🇿🇵🇪🇸🇬🇻🇳 in the biggest trade deal since Brexit.

By joining the CPTPP, the UK will have:

✅ Access to £1.8bn in trade
✅ Zero tariffs on exports

The UK ends March '23 with more trade deals in effect than any other independent country on the planet.

1- 🇪🇺 EU - 45
2- 🇬🇧 UK - 37
3- 🇳🇴🇮🇸🇱🇮🇨🇭EFTA - 35
4- 🇨🇱 Chile - 31
5- 🇸🇬 Singapore - 27

Australia, NZ, CPTPP & Bosnia deals take the UK up to 41.

Great news.

Britain is now the #1 country in the world for the most trade deals. Not often we praise our country but pretty remarkable given only a few years ago Britain had none of its own trade deals as part of the EU and left the EU lacking the 40 odd years experience in signing FTAs.
