    Very down to earth. It's always noticeable how members of the Royal Family are human despite their position, compared to democratically elected politicians who generally come across as soically awkward, insulated and nerdish.

    If this were the American president he'd probably be surrounded by 10 men in black with sharp shooters placed in the hillside lol.

    I mean, I understand that the threat of being shot etc. is a lot lower here in the UK than it is in America - but I'd still expect him to have protection. He was always pretty down to Earth though - I much prefer him to his children.

    I highly doubt he was alone. He always has security, but they always prefer to be out of sight, so chances are, they were walking ahead of him or quite far wide. He would never be allowed out without security, it won't be allowed.
