The girl who was caught in a fire story

This is a story i made up about a girl who was trapped in a house when i fire started.

I put my hair straighteners down on the table and started to brush my hair. I admired myself in the mirror then added some mascara and a swipe of lip-gloss.
"Kayley!" my mum shouted from downstairs. I realised it was time for dinner so rushed downstairs. I didn't know what i had done... I thought everything was fine... But sometimes, things turn out way bad without you even knowing.
Once i had eaten my cheese and ham toastie i went on the computer to chat to my friends. My Dad was at work and my Mum had gone up the shop. I was alone in the house. I often was so it wasn't a big deal... I listened to my friend DJ-ing on her internet radio show for a bit and after a bit i started to smell something. The smell was coming from upstairs and it smelt like burning. I quickly set my status to be right back on 'MSN' and ran up the stairs. I had completely forgot about all of the safety stuff... That's what happens when you start to panic! I got hold of the handle on my bedroom door and realised it was a bit hot but i had already opened it. Suddenly flames came rushing past me. I screamed and felt myself burning. I fell to the ground. My eyes then slowly shut... And my body was burnt... Forever...


Sorry if you did not like some of the scenes in this. But there is a lesson in it. If a door handle feels hot and u spell burning *DON'T OPEN THE DOOR*!
