    Default Typical Bloody Sunday

    Right,

    On Sunday, I wanted to travel from Llandudno Junction (N Wales) to Penzance (Cornwall) making 3 changes at Crewe, Birmingham and Exeter.

    Got to Crewe from Llandudno Junction - Line from Crewe to Birmingham New Street having engineering work done on it. So they sent me off to Derby on a train. Got to Derby, I was promised a straight through train from Derby to Exeter. Got as far as Bournemouth and I was stopped there! Got on another train headed for Exter, it got there. I expected the train from Exeter to Penzance to be straight through but oh no! Got as far as Plymouth. Waited there for 2 hours. Then finally got on a train to Penzance - stopped at Falmouth, 30 odd miles away! So I got a taxi from Falmouth to Penzance because I'm sick of bloody trains!

    Overall I made 5 changes instead of 3, used 2 different types of transport instead of one, and I ended up travelling for 22 hours instead of 12!!!!!!!!

    All this ebcause my Grandad was on holiday in Cornwall and I was gonna go and see him!

    Fortinately for you I was only in the station for 3 hours!
