Ok, the thread about KFC got closed because I reported it when it started to turn really bad, with a lot of arguing and pointless posts. Anyway, the debate wasn't why I posted the thread. I just want to say that the videos are fake, and I'm really sorry to anybody who thought it was true. Actually, I'm one of them. Thanks to Mentor for proving us that the videos were fake.

So Mentor and a few people think that vegetarians are weak and don't eat enough proteins and iron. I think it's NOT true, as I'm vegetarian and I'm not weak. Before the thread got closed, I was giving websites about some facts about vegetarians.

You wanted researches ? Here is some websites.

Here is a few quotes if you don't want to bother reading :

No discussion of vegetarian diets for children would be complete without mentioning iron. Iron deficiency anemia is the most common nutritional deficiency in America. It can affect children regardless of whether they are vegetarian or not (Messina and Messina 183-86). Still, the stereotype of vegetarian children as thin, weak, and pale (all symptoms of anemia) persists. In fact, though meat is the best source of absorbable iron, iron can be found in abundance in plant foods like enriched grains, dried fruits, soy products, broccoli, beans, and nuts. If foods high in iron are served with vitamin C-rich foods or drinks (e.g., orange juice, cantaloupe, strawberries, bell peppers, or watermelon) absorption is greatly improved.

It is now scientifically demonstrated (studies of the American Dietetic Association) that to be vegetarian allows for a longer life, better health, while being a lower charge for society, especially at retirement time. The concept as what to be vegetarian would make us weak, or would compromise the children growth, is only phantasm or prejudice, which does not have any other justification than ideological.
I invite everybody to enter the debate.

Actually Mentor is completely wrong, Vegetarians are strong the vitamins and other nutrients we need are found everywhere in plants, pill forms, and other non-meat-by-products.
So he needs to do a little catching up on human anatomy and phisiology/biology.

I think vegetarians or people who try to cut back on meat are even healthier.
Diabetic people who don't have sugar-ie foods (even though we need sugar) are healthy.
Though I am not a vegetarian myself I tend to cut back on meat foods but I can't resist the temptation.
Uhh... Yeah that KFC place is wrong, Unlike other fast food places who buy there food commercialy by companys, not that they own their own slaughter house.

On a prior debate topic, Your aware that Insulin is a result of animal testing? and before that was exstrated directly from animals, so if you didnt allow the killing of animals or what resulted from them, they realy woulnt be to helathy "/
And i dont eat meat simply threw week will, i eat it becuse its needed for optimal biological function, we eveolved to eat it, athogh techialy we are best suted out of everything for fish, wich we have many obvios adaptions for, eg our noses wich allow us to swim, are becuse of are reliance on fish as food at one point "/
And Yes FISH is a meat in case your one of those strange vegitarans who somehow thinks theres a diffence "/

I can think of anyone at all, who is both vegaitan and in any spetcalar amount of health "/

Well, the debate isn't about someone's spelling...

Yes, but I'm still able to read.
