Default Yay woot woot woot braces

I went to teh orthodontist today (I thought she was gonna tighten the brace which hurts like hell), and teh uber orthodontist lady REMOVED MY BRACE! WOOT!

Just thought I'd celebrate the fact that I don't have ridiculous pain every 6 weeks, and can only eat scrambled egg/mashed potato.

    W0OoT!

I've never had to have braces, so I wouldn't know how painful they are. Anyway, glad to see you're happy.

    I'm Putting Of Having Brace's

Any Pain woudn't bother me... i just don't care about how my teeth look ...

long as they can stand pot noodels, mashed potato and other gr8 goods its fine... Ha Vegetarians Rule!

ok, maybe the pain is a lil off putting ... and what others would think ... and limitations in food.... only good point is the NHS pays for them for me if i do within the next couple yrs

ah well, but gr8 you getting yours off!

It only hurts for like a week after they've been tightened (and I had mine tightened every 6 weeks). The only other difference is that you can't have gum.

I'm still getting used to the feeling of not having pieces of metal stuck in my mouth 0_o

I had braces but mine were removable, so my mum would see me leaving the house in them .. but I'd take them off just before i got on the bus for school

even though i never wore them they took them off me about 3 months later saying they had "done their job" :d
