Ladies and Gentlemen – I presume that most of you have pets? Yes, now imagine yourself in your pet’s position... Now imagine your self being stuck in a cage and only coming out for Human vaccinations. Not a nice thought, is it?

Would you want to be one of the 2.6 million animals which are tested on every year in the uk? No of course not. Animal testing is; cruel, horrible and inhumane. So why do it?

Animal experiments can be misleading and an animal’s response to a drug can be completely different to a human, you could be injected with something that is not safe at all. Animals are used mostly for testing cleaning products than medical uses … is there any point wasting an animals life on products that make yourself and your house look / smell nice ? No

There are a big number of groups against animal testing in the uk and they cost the testers £150 million in the last 25 years, you can’t put a price on an animal’s life. The stress an animal endures in the; small, smelly and secluded cage can dramatically affect the results of the tests.

Yes tests have been used to help against; HIV and cancer and also antibiotics and insulin because other testing methods are not advanced enough BUT if you stop animal testing the other methods such as; Test tube studies on human tissue and statistics will become more advanced, so we should put them to action.

Animals have as much right to a life as human beings, if you buy all these fancy, Must have products you’re wrecking an animals life, THINK.

My view on animal testing??



I think that it is down right rong. I mean animals are living breathing things and so are humans and animals have rights to some extent. Why should people test things on animals and not themselfs?
