    Default politically correctness

Over the last few months the Uk has been going into the "lets be politically correct" phase and its driving me up the wall ! these are latest ones ive heard

    1) we can't call xmas light xmas lights in public places or events we have to call them winter lights because it offends people who don't celabrate xmas

    2) schools have banned people from wearing cross's round their necks but allow other people to wear their jewlry for their belives

    3) they might ban xmas songs and decorations in public shops.

I fink this is all a bit silly and is kinda destroying part of our british culture what you think?
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Well they are. They're celebrations of the Christian faith, and Britain is a predominantly Christian country.

Wrong. Prince Albert introduced the Christmas Tree to the world. And "winter lights" started on trees.
