Default Christmas songs - Your best ever Number 1?

Loads of Christmas songs are released every year. I just want to know your number 1 Christmas Song.

The obvious candidates are Slade & Wizzard with "Merry Xmas Everybody" and "I wish it could be Christmas every day" respectively. Other candidates include Wham's 'Last Christmas' and 'Do they know it's Christmas'.

Mine would have to be Kirsty McColl and The Pogues' Fairytale of New York.

    Happy discussing

Mine would be the same, however, I don't know if it reached #1? but its funny, "All I want for christmas is my two front teeth". I don't know if anyone knows about this but tis quite funny

On the subject of this, by coincidence there was a documentary on BBC Three just now about this song. Did anyone see this?

This wasnt number 1 - not sure it was even sung

But it amused me - its a play on Winter Wonderland

Lacy things -- the wife is missin',
    Didn't ask -- her permission,
    I'm wearin' her clothes,
    Her silk pantyhose,
    Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

    In the store -- there's a teddy,
    Little straps -- like spaghetti,
    It holds me so tight,
    Like handcuffs at night,
    Walkin' 'round in women's underwear.

In the office there's a guy named Melvin, He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say, "Are you ready?" I'll say,"Whoa, Man!" "Let's wait until our wives are out of town!"

    Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress -- like Madonna,
    Put on some eyeshade,
    And join the parade,
    Walkin' 'round in women's underwear!

    Lacy things... missin',
    Didn't ask... permission,

    Hehe
