Amazon Account

I asked my mum the other day if we could sign up for an Amazon account, because I have found some decent DVD's I want to buy off there. She refused and said that she doesn't want to enter her credit card details on the web. Is there any dangers about entering credit card details on Amazon?

Amazon i have used before very cheap and is not a scam but use play.com for dvd's

Not on trusted sites, like Ebay and Amazon. No sites that ask for details should not tell any other sites.
