Like, stupid Chavs

I was waiting outside a Fish and Chip shop (as you do), when three little Chavs came out, younger than myself.
They go, 'There's too many Grungers in Herne Bay [Where I live]', obviously trying to get a reaction. I turned around and said, 'I'm not a Grunger'. Then they said, 'There's too many Goths.' 'I'm not a Goth' I didn't hear the last one, so I just called them Pikeys and lobbed a massive snowball at his fat head.
I was in Skate Shoes, jeans, a white T-Shirt and a Hurley jacket, how could I be a Grunge/Goth [not being sterotypical here], but Grungers/Goths wear black alot, and are more noticable.

Any opinions on the matter?

Yeah, I wear skate shoes, Jeans and either a Element (black) or Billabong (light brown) hoody and people think i'm either a goth or grunger. I can't really stereotype myself as I have a unique style/music taste =]
