Simon may have to cough up £50 Grand for an old audition adversary. One of the X Factor's most memorable auditionees, Paul Holt, will be releasing his Christmas single ‘£50k for Christmas’ as a result of a bizarre wager with judge Simon Cowell.

So Paul did just that. He mangaed to get a record deal with "Industry Giant Sanctuary," and is releasing his bid for the coveted top Christmas spot on December 6th.

Paul is one of life’s real survivors after having cheated death following a road accident in 1993.
He now currently works in a call centre for a mobile phone company where it would take him four years to earn the £50k that Cowell has offered.
