Right I'm logging in and clicking remember me, I am inactive for a few minutes, logged out and then Im not remembered. Why is this? It's annoying having to type all the time as my password is fairly long.

try clearing cookies and closing browers and try?

If you have cleared your cookies/cache recently it may be the reason, give it a day or two it will sort it out. ;-)
Occasionally visit and have a nose.
