ask everyone on ur contacts list to change their status to busy as a sign of respect for the people who died in the disaster, this action started 14 hours ago n is to go right around the world

I recieved that, although I haven't done it.

The people who died in the disaster have my upmost respect, but what will changing your status achieve?
Making everyone look busy on an instant messenging program?
If it was something which did something, like signing a petition where a company would donate X amount per online signiture I would do it happily, but this will achieve nothing, so I don't.

Actually If People pass it on I thnik it shows at least that people are showing how strong our alliance is around the world. I mean People do simple actions in order to aleast show they care..People wear ribbons as mark of respect for events, and it shows the world we care.

I couldn't agree more with Jacko, it would be far more benefitial to the people that actually need the care to donate to the charities or whatever.

i think ive had that about 10 times tonite from contacts on msn n then a further more about 5 console messages saying it too! has everyone gone mad?! n yea i agree with jacko
