    Have you got a dog?

How did you persuade your parent(s) to get one?

Is/are your parent(s) working until you come home from school?

Does your dog stay in the house on its own?

I need to persuade my mum to get a dog but she works 5 days a week and I go to school.

So she says the dog would be on its own all day.

    Any suggestions?

Well i kept going on for a while. Then we saw a springer spaniel puppy in the park and i really liked it, and so did my mum. My auntie also had a springer spaniel so we knew they were nice dogs. We looked in some magazine and it has springer spaniel puppies advertised, that night we traveled to the place and come home with my dog
We got it in the summer holidays so it wasn't too bad because there was usually someone in the house.
But now she's older and gets left in the house during the day for a bit.
My parents are sometimes home before i get in from school.
My dog doesn't seem to mind staying alone, she just sleeps haha.
My parents were not keen on getting a dog but now they say they can't imagine life without her.
You can make it work, just show your mum how keen you are and let her know you'd look after it etc.

Well I used to have a pretty rare type of bredd called a Smooth Collie. She died just over a year ago now 2 weeks before her 15th birthday, I had her since we were born.
Since she died my sister keeps pestering my dad for a dog but he keeps saying no because it would be unfair on it as my parents both work 5 days a week and we go to school, especially if it's a puppy.

Have you got a dog? Yup. (Pitbull Terrior)

How did you persuade your parent(s) to get one? Hm.. Didn't. My dad wanted one lmao but my mom didn't.

Is/are your parent(s) working until you come home from school? Well.. My dad leaves at 2pm, and then my sisters come back from school at 3pm.

Does your dog stay in the house on its own? Only for an hour ? Not bad though
