Just a thought, but to stop people from posting in threads that are from 2004 make it so that if a thread asnt been posted in for a month or something it automatically closes?

Maybe the thread started could chose a date when it closes or leave it blank
    to leave it open

That might be a good idea, but I dont think this option is available in vBulletin?

I don't actually like the idea of this as it is in my opinion better using the forum search so you don't waste bandwith which costs Habbox money by creating new threads for example, the 'Show off your desktops' thread, there is atleast two when you could just post in one and make it a pinned thread, although it is classed as 'bumping' most forums would prefer you to use the search rather than create duplicate threads.

Although in the 'Habbo News & Rumours' section this could be a good idea as there are pointless bumpings from 2004 Habbo news. I see your point and agree and disagree with it.
