Imp's and other teleportes

I have noticed a few times with having a hallway of imps that sometimes when changing rooms (using the imps) you enter imp and goes back to the room lists saying something like "waiting to go into room" (forgot exactly what it says), then to fix this, i enter the room where the other imp is and pick it up and re-drop... anyone else had this problem? using imps or other teleporters ?
