    Default Picture Annoyance!

    hi

    when adding pics to a website i need a bit of help. cos wen i insert it, it has a white bg, which covers the intended bg. how can i get rid of the white bit so that it doesnt cover it. if u understand plz reply

    you need to save your picture as a gif file, this will give it a transparaent bg

    It depends what program your using, in photo shop, you have to remove the background layer, gif format supports invisble backgrounds, but if left white i think stay white in programs liek paint.... athogh im not actaly shore?

    Saving in gif doesnt make it transparent!

    If you save a bitmap in Gif form it messes up and goes fuzzy you need to make the white the same color as the background!

    i use m frontpage the newst one out now, that has the tool which also let's you save in .gif ect... so it is worth buying m frontpage
