How do domains work? i mean, how do they make them? They cant just type it to the nameserver and *poof* its there, or they'd get them free! And if they pay somebody else, how do they get them?
Im confuzzled. :s![]()

Nick, what dan said, I didn't ask "how to get one" I'm not that thick!
I know it goes on a DNS Ip or something, but wouldnt that be FREE to do? Unless it was for the PC... that had to be on 24/7... I am more confused
I AM NOT ASKING THAT CALL, I WANT TO KNOW HOW IT WORKS, WHERE DOES THE REGISTAR GET IT FROM?
