Default Pokemon Diamond & Pearl pics

I found these and thought iwould post them here.

"It's not just the monsters who have evolved in Diamond & Pearl. Since Red & Blue were released in 1999, the monster RPG series has followed the same formula, but now it seems that Nintendo is determined to make sure that Pokémon's DS debut is a special one.

Nintendo released new information on Diamond & Pearl on the official Pokémon website and not only did it reveal some new features and a new professor, the comapany also explained how it will make use of the DS's capabilities.

Starting with the all-important Pokédex, it has been redesigned to look like a DS with dual screens and a D-pad. However you'll be using the stylus rather than the D-pad to control the 'dex and you'll be able to mess around with Pokémon voices and compare the size and weight of your monsters.

It will be tricky to add Pokémon to your Pokédex as 90% of the little critters have evolved, meaning you'll have to rely on the assistance of a new professor called Nanakamado.

In addition to catching all the Pokémon, you'll also have to find 20 applications for your new gadget: the Pokéwatch. The watch - which will appear on the touch screen - will not only show the time, but it's also a calculator and you'll also be able to use it to study your Pokémon stats.

It will be important to keep an eye on the time as like in Animal Crossing it will constantly change and some monsters could only appear during a certain period of the day.

While there is no UK release date, Pokémon's DS debut will be out in Japan in the Autumn and we hope to have an update next week from Japan's World Hobby Fair, where a playable version of Diamond & Pearl will be available. "

I've been wanting a proper free-roaming Pokemon game to turn up on the 'Cube, but the closest we got was Gale Of Darkness. What a disappointment.

I don't think Pokemon would be Pokemon without the turn-based battling.
