You buy Half Life 2, and it comes free with it when you install STEAM. I played HL2 once and since I realised what CS was I havent played HL2 in over a year :p

I think if you install STEAM without HL2, it costs about 20 quid to download CS:S

Download a Torrent downloader thingy (EG: BitLord)
Go to http://isohunt.com
Search Counter-Strike 1.6 Or Counter-Strike Source (Depending on wich you want)
Download it ^_^
Install it.
You wont be able to play on alot of servers but you will be able to go on a few.

u can get it for free if some 1 who has it uploads it and u donwload it but the best bet would be to try li/\/\e\/\/ire. but if your scared u will get a virus then it would be best to buy it-

also guys post below how often u play CSS a week- i will start with 19hrs

I'm playing alot wit the Scout, pretty good with it. I play it quite alot I guess, atleast 2 hours a night and maybe on the saturday for like 6 hours :p
