Firefighters have been dealing with a large blaze which started on Tuesday at a packaging factory in Lincolnshire. Crews were called out to Logtek on a business park in Pinchbeck near Spalding just after 1700 BST.
At first only wooden pallets were involved but the flames spread to the factory building. A plume of smoke could be seen for miles around.
Ten fire crews were tackling the flames. The ambulance service said there were no reports of casualties.
Pollution threat
It is believed around 1,000 people were evacuated from surrounding businesses but no homes have been affected.
Neil Fritzsche, of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, said: "Nobody has been injured, we have safety officers in place and our operations are in place.
"Yes there is a threat to the environment because when something burns there is a by-product of that combustion that goes into the atmosphere and pollutes it.
"Fortunately for us the weather conditions mean it is being blown out to sea."
The cause of the fire is not thought to be suspicious.
That was one hell of a fire, things blew up so fast -shock-
