    Default Good New Metal

Has anyone heard of/got hold of any really original, current metal recently?

I've recently got into Clutch and they're amazing for the lighter side of metal, but I want something like Slayer/Metallica thrash kind of thing. I just can't find any good metal bands that have been labelled 'the new Metallica' by one music magazine or another, and thats a helluva lot of bands, trust me.

And I don't want anyone saying Slipknot, Trivium, Bullet, or any of those bands that really do suck.

And no Dragonforce. THEY ARE NOT THRASH.

I don't really like Tool, and I already have some Anthrax. Thanks anyway Craig.

    Enjoy.
Although these aren't new bands as such, although SR is fairly new to the music industry nice choice Especially Killswitch.
