Well here it is, after 2 weeks of non stop collecting of all the swiss flags and doormats i could possibly find, i give you, 'Balloonatics'.
Essentially its the swiss alps in a v9 room, modelled loosly around this sort of image:





The room sports 2 mountain peaks with various coloured 'hot air balloons' dotted around, as well as a quaint little swiss mountain town and a small river running across The entire mountain is also fully accessible
After the competition, whether i win or not i will be putting white doormats all over the white rugs to add to the snowy effect, unfortunately unless i can find someone who'll take 2 hcs for 70 white doormats i doubt that will be possible by monday night
Also i originally planned to put a black doormat underneath each of the doormats that make up the mountains to make the mountains look a little less hollow but again i didnt have time

This room has taken a lot of effort and a lot of help from friends and id just like to say thanks to Catzsy for all her support , Kikori.angel for donating that last white rug , kxg for donating a few swiss flags to finish off the complete wall and Nixt for 'you know what' as well as donating a few black doormats
I would also like to shame a fair few shop owners for being greedy little Habbos and asking for an absurd amount of profit but i wont ruin my thread by even mentioning their names
I also had to lock down and demolish the neighbourhood part of UrbanSuburbia to have enough gingerbread houses, so that will be out of action until i have time to buy more gingerbreads

I cant make any dramatic changes to the room at this time as its getting close to the deadline and i would like a few days of rest
Anyway, rates? Comments? Improvements? All are appreciated

And ive often though of this room as a bit like Marmite, in the sense that you either love it, or you hate it
Unfortunately the more i look at it the more i hate it but i can be quite negative about my rooms

Don't worry about the more you look at it the more you hate it part, everyone gets it especially if it's their own rooms. I know I get that all the time for my rooms.

But anyways, I think it looks nice Only thing I recommend would be to put black mats under the black mats which make the mountain in order to make them look less hollow but you've already mentioned the reason for that.

Overall, I'd be surprised if your room didn't win (although I haven't seen any other Switzerland entries). Great room and enjoy your rest from trading

Wow! thats great and very original, and as the last post says the more you look at your room the more you tend to dislike it, always happens to me then i tare it down back to your room, the only imprvments i can see is the ones you have already said +rep if i can

I figured unless i got all the doormats i needed for either of the improvements i suggested, i wouldnt do it at all because it would just look half done
Unless i can find 144 black doormats and about 20-30 white in one place its not going to happen
