I just use the O2 Pay as you go....

Just top up £10 and you get either 300 free text or 50 mins call anytime or 100 off peak mins... and you get to keep your £10 still...

Or if you top up £14-29 you get 500 free text or 100 mins call anytime or 150 off peaks mins and you keep the money you topped up...

Well I dunno if it applies to all o2 simcards, I got mine for free from their site as a promotion...

And recently they still promoting this deal where you get free calls on Sat, Sun and Monday to one postcode or one o2 number... for 2 months when you type up £10 or more.

I prefer pay as you go, because you just pay when you need it and no hassle from contracts... may have problems if they taken the wrong amount etc.
