ps3 or xbox360?

hey all i'm thinking of getting a ps3 or an xbox 360... question is.. which one in your opinion is better? At the mement all my games are ps2.... so i'd be missing out on about 20 ps2 games if i joined the xboxers.. but apparently xbox is very good?

I think the xbox 360 has better specs than the ps3, heres a good page about the xbox 360. Im still getting a ps3 though XD.

I got my 360 purely because of Xbox Live, I don't know if online play interests you at all.

Thats the same reason I got xbox and the 360. The quality of online on Xbox dominates Playstation. If you have xbox live then lose it. You really see how boring games are Single Player.

yea but its like £30 a year.
i dont see how people can judge a console which isn't out yet.
but having a 360 myself i would recomend it to anyone.
apperantly designers find it harder to make games for the ps3 because its so complex, which could mean you see dev teams making more 360 games just because its easier.
plus with M$ buying all the games up like gta,fifa and other, ps3 wont have all the titles it is famous for.
why spend £600 on a games console anyway.

i will be buying a ps3 but only when the price drops below £300. buying it before is just plain stupid in my opinion

once the ps3 comes out we can all see for our selfs what the ps3 is really like.

Looked at a review and it shows that xbox is apparently better specification wise. ps3 is like 300 quid more expensive than the 360? that's ridculous.. also 360 has assasins creed
