You must remeber that u cannot get scammed without putting yourself at risk.
What i meen is in order to get scammed you must first give out your furni or password.
As far as i kno ther is no current way of getting your pasword without u telling the scammer so bellow i have listed the top 20 scams to help you avoid being scammed:

1 if somone asks you to shout out your password by sayin something like
'LOOK WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TYPE IN YOUR PASSWORD ******'
DO NOT try it report the habbo that is saying it.

2 Some scammers will flood rooms with websites that they claim will give you free credz fair enough go to the website if you want to but if it asks you to download something or give them your password and username make sure u dont lol.

3 some smart scammers will use key loggers thease are programmes that download onto your computer and then register everyrthing you type they will then send it via email to the scammer to avoid this make sure u dont download anything such as scripting tools.

4 you cant buy paint without credz dont trust anyone else to do it for u about 97.8% of ppl will scam u.

5 do not trade cameras tht people say have film in them becoz usually u will have to pay over the price of a normal camera and when u eventualy get it it will have 0 film anyway.

6 if u r buying linking teleporters or imps make sure u get the seller to prove they link by showing u in one of there rooms.

7 if u have a shop and somone walks in and asks to buy everything then offers something way above the value of the stuff in the shop kick them
becoz most will say there isnt enough to fit in the trade box give me some first then ill swap the rest for the peice of furni.

8 anyone saying they will give u free credz is a scammer thats basicly it no ones gonna give u free credz.

9 you cant trade camera film if somone trades u and says its film it isnt it is most likely a picture.

10 there is no such thing as a super rare black amber lamp the amber lamp shown if black in a trade is infact a red amber lamp i used to get scammed by tht 1 lol.

11 be careful of your trades because lots of people will try to scam you wait 10 seconds when the furni has been put it in so u can check its a real throne not a majestic chair.

12 some people will use clones to scam u they will say something like
clone1:buying pillar for 3 hcs
clone2:selling pillar for 1.5 hcs
this works because when you buy the pillar for 0.5hcs above the real price both clones suddenly disapear.

13 my friend used to full for this one all the time a habbo would come up to him and offer to marry him so they go to the church rooms and all that crap they adopt and tht and then she says why dont we move in together so he gives her all his furni and she locks her room lol

14 casinos are quite dodgy places i used to work in a casino it cost me 0.5 for rights and that was it i could deal and take bets and everything
so if a dealer has only paid 0.5 for rights he may end up scamming you
make sure u deal with the owner of the room or deal with the dealers but at low risks such as asian furni.

15 ha my mate fell for this one the first time he ever went on habbo
he was in the welcome lounge and someg guy came up to him and asked if he needed help he said yer so the guy took him to his room were he told him how to buy credits and that so anyway my mate buys the silver nelly rare. and he tells the guy. the guys goes to him omg u idiot rares are no good look ill be nice here u can trade me with it for this lodge gate.lol wot an idiot.

5 WAYS TO AVOID SCAMS
1 usually u will only be scammed if greed gets the better of u if an offer seems to good to be true it usually is.

2 theres absoloutly no way of getting free credits

3 if something looks or feels doggy leave it theres no point in it.

4 usually scammers do not have any furni or if they do very little amounts go check out their rooms before u trade if u feel uncomfortable

5 use the help icon guess wot it helps u *gasp*

there are 20 points here and this a guide for new people im just trying to help people stay safe thease are scams that i have heard or seen of and wich by telling them will help them from being scammed themselves.

I can lower those Top 20 ways to just 1.

1. Have Common Sense - It is that simple. If youa re stupid enough to be believe everything someone tells you, you probably should not even be on the computer or living. If someone says "Hey look, when you type your password out it comes out as ******" it is so unbelievably obvious that it is not true. If someone claims they can clone furniture, think of the logic, how on earth can they?!

Keyloggers aren't really scamming, they are just what some malicious, idiotic people use to get your password and therefore get your furniture, no scamming involved.

Take the time to notice what the other person is doing. Take time when trading, if they keep closing the trade windoe, leave them. If they want to be idiots, then so be it, don't let them waste your time.

You can't tell people how to have common sense... It is impossible, well on Habbo atleast. You have a better chance of persuading a cat to talk. Lying about percentages doesn't help anyone, there are far more people out there who could buy you paint etc, saying that amount is very, very stupid...
