Ok, so theres this girl i'v had my eye on for a while now. We talk a lot, we hang around with the same people and she has a really nice personality! I was thinking about asking her out, but i'm VERY VERY SHY!!! I'v knew her for a few months now and we have a good laugh together. See, i know that my friend fancies her and that if i ask her out, he might get jelous... But that isn't the problem! I'm scared that if i do ask her out, she will either tell me to get lost or tell me quietly. Either way, I'd prefer it if she said yes
So, what i REALLY need is some advice... Should i ask her out? If i did, where, how and when would i do it?

First person I ever asked out rejected me, played the "wouldn't you prefer to stay friends?" line and was going out with my best mate at the time the next week Still, wasn't too much of a problem. Just go for it, there's no other good option.

If she likes you just as a friend, she would say so when you ask her out. Its a bit akward and embarassing if she says that, but it passes pretty quickly if you just accept it. And itll be back to normal after that
