If you read the first line of the article, they robbed the people in the line of their money, not their PS3's. And they wouldn't have them because they were waiting to get the PS3, otherwise they wouldn't be in line. They obviously robbed the PS3 line because all the people in it would be buying a PS3, so they'd all have at least $1000.
