    Default Called a swot -_-

It's so annoying, I can't help it if I'd rather do the homework than have a breaktime detention. It's not my fault I can draw very good or can remember dates in history. Arg.

    calm down hun, okay listen.

I get called it because my friends i hang round with are in lower band or are just thick.

And you know what i just think to myself?

Atleast i take my education seriously, atleast i wont be relying on someone else to pay the bills, atleast i wont be pregnant by the time i leave school, atleast i will have enough money to support me and keep me out of debt, etc.

I know at the end of the day, im better then them. People may call you a swot because they are either jelous of you.

At the end of the day, its people who work hard in school and do their homework etc that will have the jobs and the money when they are older.

    Ignore 'em.
You'll be the one laughing when they're living in a skip and you're earning tens of thousands a year.

I agree, it means your actually getting on with education.

I was once called a swot (not long ago)

Then I thought it would be "cool" to slip in school and litterally say bobba off to homework. Then when i hit year 10, I got a grip as it was GCSE courses. Now im doing well, nothing under a B and im very pleased. 100% attendance and good effort marks.

My friends don't mind either because i got rid of my "friends" who didn't like people who did well in school and realized who my real mates were.
