    It's no way near for beginners. RPG Maker 2000 is for new users, but XP is much more advance using scripts and ruby to code.

    I was a beginner to that engine when I first used it and I never used 2000 but I got the hang of it

    I think it has it's own client for the trial version but you can search it at www.download.com I know it's there

    Kjata, Ruby is the scripting language it uses. Lol.
