AOL crap lately ???

Well this week AOL have been pissing me off the slow download and upload speeds so i might phone them up tomorrow about it...

heres proof of my speed:


urgh so annoying. As soon as o2 broadband is available in my area I am going to get it.

I was speaking to a friend about this the other day and hes been having the same problems so he is also moving to o2!

AOL are really going to loose loads of clients, but i suppose they dont give a **** because there crap service.

I've also noticed this.. someone I know rang up, complained and said they were moving ISPs, they said they would give him a free laptop if he stayed another 2 years.

Uhm... In response to the thread TITLE, don't you mean "ALWAYS???" Honestly, AOL couldn't give two craps. Instead, they'll invest their money into Bebo and call it AOL Networking. That'll kill that one off for sure.

The connection has been crap because they are migrating to the CPW servers. Just annoying that they cant give an estimate of when this will be completed.
Also if you signed up for the free laptop deal, you could still get out of it based upon the fact that AOL/CPW arnt proivding the service they promised you in the deal. - But then thats a whole other thread about unfair terms and conditions in consumer contracts etc.

i havent noticed the speed changes in my aol
i thought i had a problem with aol throttling my bittorrent connection, but it turns out that if i download anything from a pirate bay tracker it goes really slow
