    Have you thought,
What if that persons family doesnt care if he/she is gay. So no respect would of been lost.

Even thought I'm not gay if I was I know my parents would support me so I wouldn't have to think about it
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

If I was gay and if I had parents that wouldn't support that, than no I wouldn't be prepared to lose their repsect. I love my family too much tbh.

Although I'm not sure on my sexuality, I know my mum would support me 100%. Not sure about my dad though, he's hardly around, so I don't know how he feels about bisexual and gay relationships.

So I don't think i'd have to loose their respect.

Yes. If I was in love with someone then I'd do anything for them... if my parents can't accept me / the person I love they can die for all I care. [:
