    If it was me i'd just ask them straight up, but thats just me im very confrontational. But not knowing if they really like you or not is worse than just sitting around thinking about it, you should ask them where you stand.

    Sit down, and have a talk with the person.

    If you are the sort of person who finds it hard to talk about things like that with the person, write them a letter explaining everything.

    It will be alot easier for you and the person if you knew about it, if there is anything to know...
