You will find that in winter not many bugs are around..
But once it gets to the summer you will find them in flowers, trees and on the ground.
There is no point bug hunting in the winter you should only really bug hunt in winter if you want the dung beetle.

No, you don't need them for fish bait lol you just put your rod out and hey presto a fish will come.
The dung beetle is found on snowballs which they push around, to catch one just get your net and whack it off the snowball and you'll catch one if there is one there.
