Homophobia

Right just a comment on people who are homophobic because I see alot of this commented back and I just saw it on forum somewhere so I thought I'd post this. [and I'm not atall saying being homophobic is fine - I love lesbians! {and I know a few gay people who are alrite}]. Just because they are homophobic does not mean they are secretly gay in some way. It may infact be because they don't like gay people. Lets see it in another point of view, racism. Now just because a racist shouts racist chants at black people does not mean he wants to be black. Sure alot of homophobic people may be homophobic as a point of denial to stop them being gay, but it is a stupid accusation to call a homophobe a "secret gay" because that's stupid.

You're thoughts on the whole "if you're homophobic then you're secretly gay" thing?

Oh it happens alot, I see it all the time. However on the film 'American Beauty' there's a could plotline twist..!

And I think the logic is that a homophobic person is trying to stop themselves being gay by not accepting it. But yeah it's a stupid reason.

another theory people might use is that (if they're gay/biseuxal) when they was growing up they always used to call people gayboys or whatever, becuase pretty much all kids do, they probably adapted it from that or somthing.

i probably don't make sense but i know where i'm coming from.

Ive always thought that as well. It doesnt make much sense.

However, there was a scandal in congress a few monthes ago where a congressman who's huge target issue was pedophelia. But, to the ultamite irony, he actually tried sudducing young pages. Its funny how people try to hide the things they do by bringing attention to it in a different way.

So I actually do think there is some truth to it. I dont think people who think being gay is a sin are secretly gay, but I do think that some people try to cover up their homosexuality by staying away from gay people.
