The odds bookmakers make, such as "Shilpa to win - 6/5"
What does 6/5 stand for? You bet £6 and you get 5 times back?

No lol, that's rubbish odds. You bet £6 and get like a pound back..

For every £5 you bet you get £6 I think.

Jade is at 17/1, every pound you bet you get £17... :rolleyes:

Well according to my dad it's not worth putting any money on for her to win. Say if you put £50 on her to win you'd get £60 back if she won.

Im sure if its odd 6/5 to win or w/e

you bet £6 you would get you £6 back and win £5 ontop of that.

Although that could be aload of bull
