There's like 40 realms o.o good job finding somone on the realm you're on THEN them wanting to trade gold, also buying/selling gold isn't allowed on WoW and unlike runescape they actually track your ip number your address so the police knock on your door

I know loads of people that have bought gold, I doubt the police will come because you're wasting money to buy online gold tbh
Blizzard do scan your cookies etc. They can see every website you've been on
