What do your parents like?

Well my Dad asked me for copies of my Shins CD's and now he really likes them. Which makes him eligable for "World's Greatest Dad" award by default.

Anyway, what do your parents or any relatives like?

My Dad is old so obviously he likes cliche old people stuff like Bruce Springsteen and The Beatles and The Who and stuff. He's got a few thousand records lying around. But he likes some new stuff like The Shins, Foo Fighter's accoustic stuff, Coldplay, Wilco, The White Stripes, The Hold Steady, and a little Modest Mouse.
My Mom is much less into music, but she likes pretty much anything my Dad likes. But she likes Green Day and stuff as well.

My brother is into anything loud pretty much. He's far from a goth kid, but he likes hard rock like Breaking Benjamin and Coheed & Cambria and Bush and really print-copy alternative bands.

Dad's into terrible pop music from the 60s/70s/80s and the 90s.

Mom, not really sure, she's matured with age, she used to be obsessed with metal in her infancy. She's always been very proud of her Irishness and so listens to a lot of Irish folk these days, as well classical music and stuff she used to like. Zeppelin and Sabbath were her favorite bands.

Sister likes run-of-the-mill whatever's on the radio, I got her an NME comp she seemed to liked.

My brother is like me, loves punk but more into ska.

my dads into classical, old rock and pop and new indie stuff.
my mums into old rock and pop.
my brothers a huge music fan, mostly into indie and alternative and new rave.
my sisters are into dance, hardcore rave, rap, rnb.

i probably have the sameish music taste to my brother, he's introduced me to alot of bands & i've introduced him to some.

Dad likes the beatles, mom doesnt really listen to music.

My Mum likes bands like The feeling etc and dance music so not to bad really. The rest of my family erm I have no idea

Dad - Abba, Queen, Bette Midler (rofl) old stuff like that.
Mum - Likes David Bowie, Elton John etc. But is really into the new indie stuff. She likes FOB and other random rock too.
Sister - Worships MCR & FOB. Likes alot of the rock etc.

my dad likes old rock and blink 182, good charlotte etc.
my mum likes "new romantic" stuff and pop.

my mum likes dance music, she loves cascada etc, & loves 80s stuff.

my dad listens to a mix of anything, but he likes current indie.
he's quite cool really.
he loves jimmy eat world, the fratellis, the kooks, bloc party & the klaxons.
