Right, in my 6th Form in the canteen they've introduced this new "cashless" system in which we have cards to pay. These cards are topped up by us by putting money in machines, we then take the food to the till, have our card swiped and the money goes off the card.
Simple, no?
NO! Because what they forgot to explain is that there is a £5.00 a day limit on how much you can spend. Now, considering I
A) Eat alot
B) Drink alot
This is not good news. For example.
Breakfast: Bacon Buttie & Milk - £1.00
Dinner: 6 chicken pieces and Pasta - £1.90
Cake: 40p
Now, I have ONE Kidney and have to drink LOTS of water. The cheapest drink is 65p.
3 X Bottled Water = 1.95
£4.85 in all. This is NOT GOOD. The bacon butties are awful, I usually get a sandwich or baugette (sp?) which cost £1.30/1.70.
Everything is over-priced and, to pay for the new system, they've had to cut back on the damn quality of food!! It's awful.
Opinions?
