My fletching level is 53 in order to get 70 i need to make like 6k maple bows

Do i still get the experiance if i dont put the bowstring on?

Yes,
For example, if you get 100 xp for making the full bow string,
for cutting you get 50xp
for adding string to a (u) you'd get 50xp

Don't do Maples. Do Willows, you save so much more.

You get more XP from stringing a bow but it's such a waste of money.

Yeah, get willows. You'll have to make more but it'll be cheaper. I gotta fletch 50K willows to get 80 fletching. Making one willow longbow (u) gives you 47 experience I think.

although making willow longs is probably cheaper, here is an alternative...

if you have done the throne of miscellania quest, get your people to pick flax and cut maple logs...

spin the flax

cut the maples into shorts

sell on f2p

takes a bit longer but you will make a decent amount of money from it =]
