Another one of my threads to gather info on how to get up a skill to level 60 .

Anyway, fletching...

How should I do this one? Im level 46. I was thinking to buy 10k willows and bowstrings, then put them all together and gain 830k exp.

But is that the best way to 60? (and yes, I know... 830k exp is way over 60 lol).

Im willing to spend 5mil .

So you are suggesting just buying the willows and making the base bow?

if so, how many before I should move onto something else, if anything?

Willow long (u) till 70, then yew longs after. Do maples (u) if you want it to be a bit quicker but a little more expensive. (obviously)

buy all the willow logs you need to 70 (or 60 in your case) cut them into yew longbows [u] do not string them! sell to the boat charters for 24gp instead of the normal 16gp from shop so you only lose 6-11gp each bow

Don't buy them!
They're so fast to cut, and such good woodcut exp.
You won't really need THAT many to get to 70, and you should deffinately not string them.

i suggest cutting willows
then cutting to willow long (u) them but dont string them

Buy/cut 5k willow logs, fletch them all into unstrung willow longbows. That'll get you to exactly lvl 60. No bow strings needed. It can all be done in a day aswell.

Buy a load of Willow logs, or even better cut them yourself [trainign two skills at once that way] and cut into willow longs. Don't dtring them, since this is just a waste of money

Either drop all the longs or sell to a general store for a few thousands

Might as well just go straight to 70 with willow longs, maple longs if you want slightly faster XP.Once at 70 its yew longs all the way

As soon as you can do yews do them and alch them or you can trade them for the things to make them again, you dont lose much.
