Game Review: Sonic Rush

Sonic Rush is a typical 2D Sonic Game with only 2 playable characters, Sonic and the mysterious Blaze the Cat.

Sonic's Storyline
Sonic is just running along in the forest when he encounters Eggman, they do battle and Sonic wins. Eggman drops a weird stone like a Chaos Emerald. Before Sonic can reach it however, it is snatched by a mysterious cat (Blaze) who runs off. Sonic tries to find her, but runs into Eggman Nega, another Eggman.

Blaze's Storyline
Blaze is from a different world, she is a princess who gaurds the Sol Emeralds (that worlds Chaos Emeralds), but when Eggman Nega steals them and goes into Sonic's world Blaze follows him. She ends up running along courses with twists and turns with her new found friend Cream the Rabbit. Using her inner flames she attempts to get the Sol Emeralds back.

The good points:
Sonic Rush brought back some of the retro feel of the original Sonic games, and we all know how everyone likes them!

Sonic Team only put 2 characters in the game! Most players got sick of playing as Tails and Knuckles, but in this game nothing but speed.

A great sense of speed, and A BOOST BUTTON. Sonic went crazy when you hit the boost button. True speed!

Bad points:
There arent many! One of them has got to be Tails and Cream, pretty useless in the top screen shouting at you.

Sad ending It was a great game, buy it and you'll find out why it was sad!

MY THOUGHTS:
This is an excellent game and every true Sonic fan should get it! If you don't like Sonic this might change your mind.
