ye the banner and footer arnt even close to done but i need ideas for what colour or image to use for the background and inside the content boxes.
would steel plating look ok as the background? (2nd box in middle is for ads)
(would the blue background thats currently on colin-roberts.net look ok?
im adding it in on paint.
nvm i cant get it to work on paint so imagine

I think you should really get rid of the top left two boxes and give the main box a bit more room by using that space, it may look a bit better.
